The EatHealthyQ8 closing ceremony was held at the Movenpick Hotel in Kuwait. The aim of the initiative was controlling the growing number of overweight children as well as improving their habits with the help of their parents and schools.
The event was attended by the children and their parents along with the EatHealthyQ8 team and sponsors of the EatHealthyQ8 initiative. A short movie was played as part of the event’s festivities to shed light on the children’s weight-loss journey, organized programs, including physical activities and exercise, along with a sneak preview of children and parent workshops held and organized by the Diet Center.
Eight children who lost the most amount of weight based on their BMI were awarded with prizes for their efforts and hard work. The first place winners Nawaf Khater and Maryam Alkandari won a family tip to Euro Disney, courtesy from the V-Max group. Hussain Galeb and Dalal Al Rweished Aljasser came in second place and won vouchers from Ali Abdul Wahab. Third place winners, Abdulaziz Alolaimi and Roqaya Aljasser won Argana boot camp memberships. Khalid Alkandari and Noura Alhobaishi came in fourth place and won Diet Center memberships.
Eat Healthy Q8 is coming to an end on 16th May at 6.00 pm at the C Club in Bidaa with there initiativity that started mid april 2013. Im going to the closing ceremony and know more what they been doing. i hope you come back for more.
About Eat Healthy Q8:
Eat Healthy Q8 is a first of its kind Nationwide initiative that focuses on children with the help of their parents to improve their eating habits, and to curb the growing trend of childhood obesity in Kuwait. The Eat Healthy Q8 Campaign is a collaborative effort by Diet Center Kuwait with the cooperation of the Public Administration for Private Education, The Ministry of Education, The Ministry of Health and the International Organization for Migration along with ARGANA Hotels and Resorts. The initiative of the campaign is to engage 10 different schools to enroll 30 children ages 11 to 14 in the Eat Healthy Q8 program. The month long program teaches children the benefits of proper eating habits and physical activities as part of a healthy lifestyle.

من الناحيه الفنيه سينمات غراند برج الحمرا وايد احسن من سينمات شركة السينما … كذا فيلم رحت له في غراند كان عرضه احلى و اوضح و الشاشه انور من عروض شركة السينما .. فلما قالوا OSN ان العرض راح يكون في برج الحمرا قلت زين اشوه 
الفيلم قوي و حلو، نفس مستوى الاجزاء الي قبله بس هالمره زايدين الكوميديا و التفسفس في بدلات IRON MAN .. الي اقصده بالتفسفس ان في الاجزاء الي طافت ماكان احد عنده بدلة IRON MAN الا توني ستارك بس في الجزء الثالث الجينرال رودز عنده بدله مابقى احد ما لبسها رودز لبسها villain لبسها و الرئيس الامريكي لبسها هذا غير ان توني ستارك عنده ٤٢ بدله يطيرون و يتحركون بروحهم .. يعني الوضع سلطه ايرون مان و ما صار حصري لـ توني ستاك يكون الايرون مان 
و هذا الشي الي ما عجبني بالفيلم.
من الاسباب الي ماتخليني اروح السينما وايد في الكويت ان الافلام مقطعه ان شاء الله راح انطره ينزل على OSN علشان اشوفه مره ثانيه كامل ..
قصه الفيلم حلوه وفيها عبره لـ اللبيب بالاشاره يفهم (خصوصا للشعوب الغربيه – الحجي عن الماندرين) و التصوير و الاخراج عجيبين .. كان فيلم ممتع الصراحه .. يستاهل تشوفنه ..
مدة الفيلم : ١٣٠ دقيقه (بالسينما كان يمكن 105 ) الفيلم نازل 3D و 2D

Last week was a slow week so i checked Grapevine to see what is happening in kuwait, and lucky me that same night there was live music night at Organica.
I called 22660005, booked a table and went later on to enjoy great food and music..
Organica live music night is every Monday from 7:30pm to 10pm.

المسرحيه على مسرح التحرير في كيفان ..
التنسيق و العمل الي قاموا في الشباب و الشابات بالتنظيم مجهود يشكر عليه .. اما بالنسبه للمسرحيه فالمسرحيه حلوه هادفه و خفيفه على الكبار و اليهال .. لها رساله قويه للحفاظ على البيئه و الاتكال على النفس .. اليهال لي اليوم يتكلمون عن الي تعلومه بالمسرحيه ..
اتمنى تكثر هالنوعيه من المسرحيات علشان توعي الاطفال و حتى الكبار و علشان شوي تشيل الاهمال عند الاهل و الاتكال عند اليهال ..

Last weekend Yas island hosted Metallica concert at du Arena. It wasn’t my first concert to go to but it was my first rock concert. I’ve heard from some of the fan that Metallica is not just another rock band it is the rock band to go to, so i shouldn’t be comparing Metallica with another rock concert.
I’ve been a big big fan of Metallica since the 90′s so i know all about them and about their music, but being there in person listening to them live was a different experience, it is like it was the first time i listen to them, it was so great.
The music was so loud and so powerful that my ears were still buzzing till the night after. I was so exited and pumped by the music that i felt my blood circulation has been shaken and i’ve been refreshed from all that routine and dull life.
du Arena is in Abu Dhabi, Yas Island just out side Ferrari World, it’s a huge outdoor arena that can take up to 15K at a concert. I’ve paid about 700 Dirham for FAN PIT area where the general admission tickets cost about 250 to 500 Dirham i gues.
It was well worth it and im inshallah defently going to do it again.

A while ago i went to Manchester to see Man Utd vs WestHam at old Trafford and i thought to do it differently this time. So instead of staying in a hotel i’ve stayed with AirBnB.com, also instead of flying to Manchester from London i’ve taken the fast train (I did travel by train before but it wasn’t a fast train and had to change trains few times).
Airbnb.com was great, but it was time consuming to find a place to stay in. Almost all the good places are booked and if not the host don’t reply to you .
Also some flats and rooms rates are high some are at the same price of 3 stars hotels rooms if not more.
But you really get a nice experience. I loved it and i will do it again (You can read about it here).
If you are traveling by train you should always book your tickets in advance, believe it or not it can be very costly if you book it on the spot.
And i’ve learned from my past trip to Paris that there are a very good websites that offers a very cheep prices for train tickets. I’ve bought my first class ticket from London to Manchester with more than 70% discount, at first i didnt believe it, i said i got a discount but not 70%, out of curiosity i’ve checked the ticket price at the train station and it was true. I congratulate my self for that deal.

Few years back, i went to Gulf Jazz Festival and it was great night of Jazz. This year around the Gulf Jazz Festival will be on 25-25 April 2013. Inshallah i will not miss it this year.
Manchester United Supporters club have announced a “Fan Meet-Up” at Applebee’s Bneid Al Gar (Arabian Gulf road) which will take place on Saturday, March 16th. The meet up will feature a live broadcast between Manchester United and Reading F.C. .
The game is at 8:30 PM and this is one of many fan meet-ups that will occur in Kuwait during the season. The representatives of Manchester United Supporters Club Kuwait will also be there.

This is a short video of 187 ATV guys, going in off road trips to north and south of Kuwait, week-in week-out. They have a tremendous season covering more than 750km in their ATV’s.
